Fun fact number one: I have number-form and space-time synaesthesia. I can see the calendar year laid out in front of me, weekends and holidays are dark blue and week days are orange, I can go into each day and see what I have on, have due that day, at particular times. I usually discard of my diary within the first few weeks of the year because its easier to just use my head. I can see the alphabet, numbers, dates, times, measurements in 3d lines in my head. It makes me paranoid and anxious because I need to know details to put in my ‘head diary’ so that I can work out in advance what times things are happening and organise days/weeks in my head. When I was little I thought that it was normal, but I started reading about Synaesthesia - namely number/letter -> colour synaesthesia. I don’t have that, although I do see the middle letters of the Alphabet - LMNO in a darker shade of blue and the rest in either orange, yellow or green. Its frustrating sometimes that people don’t understand my need to know details and be organised - as it means I usually end up being the one that organises things. But it is a blessing when it comes to memorising dates, birthdays, my diary and uni assignments.
